Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited university.
  • Currently reside and eligible to work in the U.S.
  • Available to tutor up to 10 hours per week during the school day.
  • Strong communication skills with fluency in English.
  • Teaching certificate not required.
  • Candidates with a Math Teacher or Math Tutor background are preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Tutor small groups of students in a school setting.
  • Meet with the same group of students, multiple times a week during the school day.
  • Engage students using manipulatives and online tools such as an interactive whiteboard.
  • Use assessment data to determine gaps in knowledge.
  • Deliver standards-aligned digital curriculum.
  • Provide quality reports to Tutor.com staff, teachers, and school administrators on student achievement.
  • Collaborate with Instructional Specialists to advance instructional practices and deliver high quality tutoring.
