Qualifications

• Currently reside and eligible to work in the U.S.
• Available to tutor up to 10 hours per week after the school day.
• Earned a 4-year degree from an accredited university.
• Teaching certificate not required.
• Background as an ELA Teacher or ELA Tutor in a K-12 setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Tutor small groups of students in a school setting.
• Meet with the same group of students, multiple times a week at a scheduled time during the regular school day.
• Engage students using manipulatives and online tools such as an interactive whiteboard.
• Utilize assessment data to identify gaps in knowledge.
• Deliver provided standards-aligned digital curriculum.
• Provide quality reports to Tutor.com staff, teachers, and school administrators on student achievement.
• Collaborate with Instructional Specialists to advance instructional practices.
