Job summary

Tutor Me Education seeks a dedicated Group Tutor to join a single, dedicated school site and provide academic support to elementary students in an in-person group setting.

You will deliver high-quality tutoring, implement age-appropriate lessons, manage groups, monitor progress, and collaborate with school staff to align tutoring with the curriculum. In-person only; FBI background checks may apply.

Qualifications

• Two years or more of tutoring/teaching experience with elementary-aged youth in group settings.
• In-person work is mandatory at the designated school site.
• Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication with children, parents, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality group tutoring to small groups of K-6 students.
• Implement age-appropriate lessons reinforcing core subjects (reading, writing, mathematics).
• Maintain a positive, organized classroom environment that keeps learners engaged.
• Monitor progress, adapt instruction to group needs, and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with school-site coordinators and teachers to align tutoring with curriculum.
