Job summary

Tutor Me Education is seeking a dedicated Group Tutor to provide in-person, after-school academic support for K-8 students at a single school site. You will deliver group instruction, tailor activities to grade levels, and collaborate with site staff to align tutoring with the curriculum.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s in Education or related field, with teaching credentials or active enrollment. At least two years of group tutoring experience and strong communication skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Child Development, or related field required.
• Teaching credential or active enrollment in a teacher preparation program is a strong plus.
• Minimum of two years of tutoring/teaching experience with elementary/middle school students in groups.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality group tutoring to small groups of students (K-8).
• Implement age-appropriate lessons reinforcing core subjects (reading, writing, math).
• Maintain a positive, organized classroom environment for students.
• Monitor progress, adapt instruction, and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with school-site coordinators and classroom teachers to align tutoring with curriculum.
