Job summary

Tutor Me Education is seeking a dedicated Group Tutor to join a single, dedicated school site, providing in-person group instruction for elementary students in grades K-6.

You will deliver age-appropriate lessons, track progress, and collaborate with coordinators and teachers to align tutoring with current school curriculum, using your education background and group-teaching experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in Education, Child Development, or a closely related field (Required).
• Preferred Education: Current teaching credential or active enrollment in a teacher preparation program is a strong plus.
• Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of experience providing academic tutoring, teaching, or similar instructional support (specifically working with elementary-aged youth in group environments).
• Delivery Mode: Must be available to work strictly in-person at our designated school site.

Responsibilities

• Group Instruction: Deliver high-quality academic tutoring and enrichment to small groups of K-6 students.
• Curriculum Delivery: Implement age-appropriate lessons and activities that reinforce core subjects (reading, writing, and mathematics).
• Group Management: Maintain a positive, organized, and encouraging classroom environment that keeps young learners focused and motivated.
• Progress Tracking: Monitor student progress, adapt instruction to meet group learning needs, and provide constructive feedback.
• On-Site Collaboration: Work closely with school-site coordinators and classroom teachers to align tutoring efforts with current school curriculum.
