Job summary

Community Resources For Justice, Inc. in Bridgeport, CT seeks a Program Assistant to support domestic violence program operations. This in-person role provides essential admin support, data entry, and client intake across FVEP, Evolve and Explore, with a 40-hour work week and a starting rate of $20/hr.

You will collaborate with the DV Manager and Intake Coordinator, maintain files, and uphold trauma-informed practices while delivering reliable front-line services.

Qualifications

• Experience with data collection and submission.
• Proficiency with Excel, Microsoft 365, Word and database portals.
• At least 2 years in an office setting providing customer services both virtual and in person.

Responsibilities

• Sending communications via text, letters, and calls to new clients.
• Entering notes and data into electronic records.
• Managing client flow in FVEP, Evolve and Explore programs.
• Conduct orientation and intake assessments for DV programs.
• Maintaining physical files and creating new files.
• Adhering to gender-responsive and trauma-informed practices.
• Reception/front-line operations (about 20 hours/week).
• Building relationships with clients and referral sources.
• Contributing to special projects as assigned.
