Job summary

Alaska Power & Telephone is seeking a Customer Service Representative to work in Craig, Haines, Ketchikan, Petersburg or Wrangell, Alaska. This in-person role requires delivering excellent customer care, processing payments, and supporting billing and administrative tasks.

Starting pay is $24.00/hour (DOE) with a comprehensive benefits package and occasional travel for training or meetings. The position is full-time or part-time and requires relocation to listed communities.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of office or customer service experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and 10-key.
• Valid driver's license and insurability by AP&T.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for training or meetings.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with power and telecom services, process payments, answer calls, and support billing and administrative tasks.
• Promote services and ensure customer interactions reflect reliability and care.
• Serve as a friendly face and helpful voice of AP&T.
