Job summary

Alaska Power & Telephone is seeking a Customer Service Representative for in-person roles in Craig, Haines, Ketchikan, Petersburg or Wrangell, Alaska. This is a full-time or part-time CSR position that requires residence in one of these locations and offers starting pay of $24.00/hour (DOE).

You will assist customers with power and telecom services, process payments, answer calls, and support billing and administrative tasks while promoting our services with professionalism and care.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 1-2 years of office or customer service experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and 10-key.
  • Valid driver's license and insurability by AP&T.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for training or meetings.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
  • Resilience to Alaska's rugged weather and remote conditions.

Customer Service Representative
Starting pay: $24.00/hour (DOE)

Alaska PowerTelephone is seeking a full-time or part-time Customer Service Representative (CSR) in Craig, Haines, Ketchikan, Petersburg or Wrangell, Alaska. This is an in-person role that requires residence in one of these Alaska locations.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys learning new skills, and communicates clearly, kindly, and professionally. This role serves as a vital connection between our company and the customers who rely on us every day.

This is an in-person position-not remote-and plays a key role in supporting our communities through reliable service and customer care.

About the Role:

As a CSR, you'll be the friendly face and helpful voice of AP&T. You'll assist customers with power and telecom services, process payments, answer calls, and support billing and administrative tasks. You'll also help promote our services and ensure every customer interaction reflects our commitment to reliability and care.

Compensation/ Benefits for Full-Time Employment:

Minimum Qualifications:
