Job summary

Think Together is seeking a Program Leader to work in California schools on a part-time, in-person basis. You will lead a group of students, model positive behavior, and support academic enrichment and safety in the classroom.

You will collaborate with site staff, communicate student needs, and assist with daily routines such as snack prep and classroom maintenance. A High School Diploma and Live Scan clearance are required.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
6 months+ experience with groups of 10+ students in programs.
Ability to speak and write Standard English in a public-school setting.
Must pass Live Scan (fingerprinting)
Provide negative TB Test within last 3 years.
Bi-literate in English and Spanish preferred.
Advanced Math and English skills (K-8).

Responsibilities

Lead a group of students in-person, maintaining high behavior and safety standards.
Serve as a positive adult role model for children in the program.
Create an engaging environment that fosters belonging for kids.
Support students in positive behavior choices and discipline when needed.
Identify student needs and communicate with Site Program Manager, teachers, and parents.
Participate in staff development.
Provide homework assistance, enrichment, and physical activity.
Work with 20–25 students, manage classroom and behavior, assist with daily routines.
