Job summary

Central Valley Training Center in Modesto, CA seeks an Instructor II to provide direct instruction and supervision for adults with intellectual disabilities in a day-shift, in-person setting. You will implement positive behavioral supports, maintain safety, document progress, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support participant goals and growth.

Starting salary is $23.68 per hour with benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401k, vacation, sick and holidays,

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; experience with adults with intellectual disabilities desirable.
• CPR and First Aid Certification preferred.
• Non Violent Crisis Intervention Training beneficial.
• Positive Behavior Support Training advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct instruction and supervision to adults with intellectual disabilities.
• Maintain a non-aversive environment and respond to crises with good judgment.
• Document data accurately and complete program paperwork.
• Develop objectives and plans aligned with participant goals.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate with stakeholders.
