Job summary

Central Valley Training Center seeks a Lead Instructor to lead a team of Instructors, deliver high-quality instruction to adults with intellectual disabilities, and ensure a positive, safe learning environment in both community and classroom settings.

You will implement the company’s positive behavioral program, complete documentation, and collaborate with staff to develop participant objectives and plans. In-person role with local travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Clear and timely communication with others.
• Follow written and verbal directions.
• Strong writing skills and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to an assigned team of Instructors and plan lesson activities.
• Deliver direct instruction to participants in accordance with goals and abilities.
• Maintain a safe, non-aversive environment and respond to crises using approved techniques.
• Complete program paperwork accurately and on time.
• Collaborate with team to develop objectives and assess participant progress.
