Job summary

College Track seeks an Academic Advisor to guide scholars through their academic journeys and help them matriculate into colleges aligning with their goals. You will collaborate with site teams to deliver workshops, host one-on-one advising, and track progress to ensure success.

You will manage a caseload of around 120 high school scholars, requiring data-driven interventions and strong relationship-building with students, caregivers, and teachers.

Qualifications

• Analytical skills to analyze student data and design targeted interventions.
• Academic advising experience within a college-access institution.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with students, caregivers, and teachers.
• Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (e.g., Google Classroom, Coursera) and grade portals; Salesforce experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build trusting relationships with students and provide culturally relevant support and belonging.
• Track and analyze student data to monitor workshop attendance, advising appointments, and academic progress.
• Manage a diverse caseload of approximately 120 high school scholars to support matriculation to college.
