Job summary

College Possible Omaha seeks an Access Advising Specialist to support high school students in exploring college options and navigating the application process. You will deliver the structured curriculum, guide students through financial aid and admissions steps, and provide ongoing encouragement both in person and online.

You will manage a caseload, track progress, and collaborate with high schools and community partners to remove barriers to college access.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 1–3 years of experience advising or coaching students from underserved populations.
• Experience designing student communication, activities, lesson plans, and resources.

Responsibilities

• Direct Student Support – deliver College Possible curriculum and milestones.
• Lead workshops and 1:1 student meetings on campus or virtually.
• Manage a caseload and track progress in Salesforce or similar systems.
• Recruit and support new high school students and families.
• Collaborate with school staff and external partners to advance student success.
