Job summary

Epic Minds Therapy is seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician (RBT) to work directly with children and individuals with developmental disabilities in person. The role focuses on implementing ABA-based techniques, collecting data, and supporting progress toward goals.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or individuals with disabilities.
• Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques, particularly ABA.
• Familiarity with medical terminology, documentation, and records management.
• Strong understanding of patient care principles and practices.
• Ability to conduct diagnostic evaluations and assessments effectively.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients, families, and team members.
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA standards.
• Background in special education or related fields is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under supervision of a BCBA.
• Provide direct support to children and individuals in various settings.
• Collect and record data on client behaviors and progress towards goals.
• Assist in patient assessments and intake processes to gather relevant information.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in HIPAA compliance.
• Collaborate with families, educators, and professionals for a holistic approach.
• Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities.
• Support clients in developing social, communication, and daily living skills.
