Job summary

Argo Group seeks a Subrogation Specialist to adjudicate complex auto and workers' compensation subrogation claims from our Chicago, Albany, Los Angeles, Omaha, or Richmond offices. This 100% in-office role reports to the SVP, Specialty Claims.

You will negotiate settlements, coordinate litigation, and provide claims trend insights while supporting claims adjusters with technical guidance.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of adjudicating auto or workers' compensation claims.
• Bachelor's degree required or four additional years of related claims experience may be substituted for degree.
• Must work independently and exercise sound judgment.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build lasting relationships.
• Strong evaluation and analytical skills, with effective time management.

Responsibilities

• Adjudicate subrogation auto and workers' compensation claims of higher technical complexity.
• Negotiate settlements.
• Manage subrogation claims in litigation.
• Provide reports on claims trends and developments to senior management.
