Argo Group is seeking a Workers' Compensation Claims Adjuster to join our in-office Claims team in Omaha, NE. You will adjudicate complex workers' compensation claims across multiple jurisdictions, while delivering superior client service.

The role requires at least two years of indemnity WC claims experience, a bachelor’s degree, and licenses in assigned states within 120 days. Strong communication and negotiation skills are essential for success in this office-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years’ experience adjudicating indemnity workers' compensation claims.
• Experience handling workers’ compensation claims in AL, CO, FL, GA, KY, NC, NJ, NY, & SC is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university is required.
• Two or more insurance designations or four additional years of related experience may substitute for the degree.
• Must be able to obtain and retain licenses in assigned jurisdictions within 120 days.
• Strong customer focus and ability to build lasting relationships.

Responsibilities

• Adjudicate workers' compensation claims of higher technical complexity under direction.
• Provide excellent customer service to clients and brokers.
• Investigate claims promptly and thoroughly, reviewing forms and endorsements.
• Prepare reports and write coverage letters for file documentation.
• Negotiate to achieve cost effective solutions within authority limits.
