Job summary

Securitas USA is seeking a Recruiter to attract and retain quality security officers in a fast-paced, in-office setting in Kansas City, MO. You will manage job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and offers while handling HR administration tasks.

This full-time role provides a full benefits package and weekly pay. Ideal candidates are 18+, with a high school diploma or GED, strong customer service, and experience in high-volume recruitment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Must have a High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Must have reliable means of communication & transportation.
• Proficient understanding of Microsoft Suite, Smartsheet, Oracle, etc. preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills required.
• Prior experience in high-volume recruitment preferred.
• Reliable and self-motivated with strong planning and organization skills.
• Must be able to take initiative, achieve results, and meet deadlines.
• Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a professional manner.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in Securitas’ pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.

Responsibilities

• Perform various recruitment activities including job posting, screening and interviewing, and sending job offers to potential candidates.
• Review employment applications and match applicants with job requirements based on best recruiting practices.
• Identify and carry out sources for recruiting Security Officers, such as job fairs, colleges / universities, community organizations, etc.
• Maintain personnel files with utmost discretion.
• Assist with new hire training and orientation as needed.
• Carry out various HR / administrative duties.
• Constant communication with operations management team on recruiting updates, trends, and other hiring factors.
