Kimley-Horn is seeking a Project Accountant to join our Sarasota, Florida office. This is not a remote position and will involve monthly financial analysis and revenue recognition along with billing and invoicing tasks.

As a Project Accountant, you will collaborate with project managers across disciplines, manage contract reviews, and coordinate receivables while meeting critical monthly deadlines. Travel within the region is expected to support multiple offices.

Qualifikationen

• 2+ years of accounting experience.
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related degree.
• Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals.
• High degree of professionalism and strong people skills.
• Must be an excellent team player.
• Strong knowledge of Excel and Word.
• Experience using computerized accounting systems.

Aufgaben

• Monthly financial analysis and on-going revenue recognition.
• Work with Project Managers in a variety of disciplines.
• Meeting multiple critical deadlines on a monthly basis.
• Ensure all billing transactions are completed and accurately recorded in MIS system.
• Prepare invoices and complete monthly billing.
• Contract management and review.
• Coordinate and pursue receivables.
• Monthly travel to other offices within the region.
