Job summary

Industrial Electric Manufacturing (IEM) seeks an Operations Supervisor to lead a defined production area, ensuring safety, quality, and timely output. You will manage Team Leads and Operators, coordinate with planning and maintenance, and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires 100% in-office presence in Jacksonville, FL, with second shift 3:00pm–11:30pm EST. Strong leadership and process discipline are essential for success.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree or equivalent plus leadership experience in manufacturing.
Experience with takt time, standard work, and daily tier meetings.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Lead daily execution of production activities to meet safety, quality, delivery and efficiency targets.
Supervise and coach Team Leads and Operators, fostering accountability and teamwork.
Ensure adherence to daily build schedules and takt time; escalate risks to the Ops Manager.
Monitor KPIs (output, defects, downtime) and lead Tier 1 daily meetings.
Coordinate with Planning, Materials, Quality, and Maintenance for work center readiness.
