Job summary

IEM is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead day-to-day production activities in the Jacksonville site. This role manages Team Leads and Operators, ensures safety, takt time adherence, and KPI targets while collaborating with the Operations Manager to optimize flow across the work center.

Second shift runs 3:00pm–11:30pm EST; 100% in-office presence is required. The ideal candidate has 3–7 years in manufacturing with leadership experience and a related degree, plus proficiency in ERP and

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or Supply Chain.
3–7 years in manufacturing/production with 1+ year in leadership roles.
Experience with takt time, standard work, visual management, and daily tier meetings.
Demonstrated career growth and potential for broader leadership in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency with ERP, Excel, and production dashboards.

Responsibilities

Lead daily production execution in the assigned work center to meet safety, quality, delivery, and efficiency targets.
Supervise and coach Team Leads and Operators, promoting accountability and teamwork.
Ensure adherence to daily build schedules and takt time; escalate risks to the Ops Manager.
Track performance against metrics and lead Tier 1 daily management meetings.
Coordinate with Planning, Materials, Quality, and Maintenance for work center readiness.
Enforce safety, 5S, and standard work; support onboarding and upskilling of staff.
Lead or support root cause analyses and corrective actions.
