Job summary

IEM is seeking a Production Controller in Fremont, CA, reporting to the Senior Director of Operations. This role focuses on coordinating production activities to ensure timely delivery and mitigating risks to on-time completion, with 100% in-office presence required.

Responsibilities include monitoring WIP, reporting production status, and supporting cross‑functional teams while adhering to safety and scheduling policies. Compensation ranges are provided based on geographic region.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required; related Bachelor's a plus.
• Strong communication skills across organization levels.
• Understanding of ERP flows and production coordination.
• Organizational skills to manage tasks, schedules, resources.

Responsibilities

• Monitor WIP and communicate schedule changes to respond to delays.
• Track and report production status as needed.
• Identify bottlenecks and help implement solutions to meet deadlines.
• Support Production Planners and schedulers.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, quality, maintenance and others.
• Generate and maintain weekly production reports.
• Document history and support continuous improvement.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and scheduling policies.
• Perform additional duties to support the team.
