Job summary

The Jonus Group is assisting a well-established independent insurance agency in recruiting a dedicated Personal Lines CSR/Account Manager. You will manage and service a portfolio of small to mid-size accounts, primarily in personal lines with some commercial exposure, leveraging a strong A–Z account servicing background and a focus on client relationships.

This is primarily an in-office role with potential hybrid flexibility based on experience.

Qualifications

• Active P&C license required.
• 3–5+ years in personal lines account management or insurance servicing.
• Experience handling accounts from start to finish within an independent agency.
• Familiarity with small to mid-size accounts, condo insurance preferred.
• Proficiency with Applied EPIC or similar agency management software.
• CIC designation preferred.
• Strong knowledge of personal lines products and industry practices.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team.
• Detail-oriented and self-motivated with high-quality client service.

Responsibilities

• Manage and service a portfolio of small to mid-size accounts, primarily focusing on personal lines with some commercial lines exposure.
• Handle A–Z account servicing, including binders, endorsements, certificates of insurance, ID cards, and renewals.
• Quote new and renewal business to provide clients with competitive pricing and appropriate coverage options.
• Maintain strong client relationships by delivering exceptional customer service and responding promptly to inquiries.
• Coordinate with insurance carriers to facilitate policy changes, resolve coverage questions, and ensure accurate documentation.
• Utilize Applied EPIC to maintain client records, process transactions, and manage account workflows.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient account management and client satisfaction.
• Identify coverage gaps and recommend appropriate insurance solutions to meet client needs.
