Job summary

Jonus Group is seeking a dedicated Personal Lines CSR/Account Manager to join a well-established independent insurance agency in New Jersey. The role focuses on servicing a portfolio of small to mid-size accounts, mainly in personal lines, with some commercial responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Active P&C license required.
• 3–5+ years of personal lines account management or insurance servicing.
• Experience managing accounts from start to finish within an independent agency.
• Familiarity with small to mid-size accounts, including condo insurance.
• Proficiency with Applied EPIC or similar agency management software.
• CIC designation preferred.
• Strong knowledge of personal lines products, coverages, and industry practices.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
• Detail-oriented and self-motivated to deliver high-quality client service.

Responsibilities

• Manage and service a portfolio of small to mid-size accounts, mainly personal lines with some commercial exposure.
• Handle A-Z account servicing: binders, endorsements, certificates of insurance, ID cards, renewals.
• Quote new and renewal business to offer competitive pricing and coverage options.
• Maintain strong client relationships and respond promptly to inquiries.
• Coordinate with carriers to implement policy changes and ensure accurate documentation.
• Utilize Applied EPIC to maintain client records and process transactions.
• Collaborate with team to ensure efficient account management and client satisfaction.
• Identify coverage gaps and propose appropriate insurance solutions.
