Zions Bancorporation is seeking a Loan Collector in Midvale, UT for an in-office role at the new Technology Campus. The position handles delinquency calls, account updates, and repayment arrangements with regulatory compliance. Open until filled.

The role emphasizes customer service, negotiation skills, and ability to work in an in-office environment with standard banking regulations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; experience in collections or customer service preferred.
• Basic knowledge of consumer and small business loans, credit cards, overdrafts.
• Excellent customer service skills and solid verbal communication.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize, and stay organized while following regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Contacts customers via telephone to inform delinquency and negotiate payments or payment arrangements.
• Updates customers’ accounts on a computer system.
• Adheres to FDCPA and bankruptcy laws; complies with federal/state regulations.
• Develops repayment schedules and explains consequences of delinquency to obtain payments.
• Performs skip tracing and due diligence to ensure regulatory compliance.
• May be considered a field collection role.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Schedule will be either Monday–Friday or Tuesday–Saturday 9:30–6:00.
