Job summary

Axis Residential, a Spokane-based property management company serving 55+ communities, is seeking an IT Desktop Administrator II for in-office work in Spokane, WA. You will manage, maintain, and support end-user devices, deploy standard software, and ensure secure, reliable IT operations.

The ideal candidate has 4-6 years of desktop administration experience, strong Windows 11 skills, and familiarity with Intune, SCCM, JAMF, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of experience in desktop administration or equivalent IT support role.
• Strong knowledge of Windows 11 administration; macOS familiarity is a plus.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 administration and productivity tools.
• Hands-on experience with endpoint management tools (Intune, SCCM, or similar).
• Working knowledge of Active Directory, group policy, and basic networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
• Familiarity with security best practices, endpoint protection, and patch management.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Windows/macOS desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
• Deploy, update, and support standard desktop applications (Microsoft 365, collaboration tools, antivirus).
• Manage user accounts, groups, and permissions in Active Directory/Azure AD.
• Monitor and manage endpoint security tools (antivirus, EDR, disk encryption, patching).
• Package and deploy software using SCCM, Intune, or similar tooling.
• Maintain desktop images, build processes, and deployment standards.
• Troubleshoot Tier 1/2 desktop, printer, and peripheral issues.
• Support remote users, VPN, and secure remote-access solutions.
• Maintain asset inventory and lifecycle management.
• Create and maintain documentation and end-user guides.
• Collaborate on IT policies and participate in projects and on-call rotation.
