Job summary

M&T Bank Irvine, CA is seeking a Credit Risk Analyst to evaluate and determine credit risk for equipment finance customers. You will analyze financial statements, industry data, collateral, and cash flows to assess ability to service debt and assign risk ratings.

In this role you will prepare concise analyses, collaborate with Sales for information, and ensure adherence to risk policies. On-site work is required five days a week in Irvine.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years’ relevant work experience, or in lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 6 years’ higher education and/or work experience
• Proficiency with personal computers as well as pertinent software programs
• Proven verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical skills

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze all credit and financial information for equipment finance loan/lease customers.
• Make decisions on loan/lease requests within assigned authority.
• Determine need for more information from Sales or customer.
• Prepare summaries, present facts, and offer opinions on creditworthiness.
