Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED is required.
• Insurance experience - minimum of 2 years is required.

Responsibilities

• Verifies patient benefits by phone or insurance platform.
• Documents benefits into NPR system.
• Provides insurance data support to clinics and Central Billing Office.
• Supports Special Projects.
• Verifies insurance eligibility by phone or online platforms.
• Uses in-network payer resources and tools.
• Communicates issues with demographic information to the Administrative Service Manager.
• Documents and tracks payer requirements.
• Reports daily statistics to meet department goals.
• Ensures timely updates from insurance companies to staff.
• Inputs insurance benefits into TS NPR system within 24 hours.
