Job summary

Lutz in Alliance, NE is seeking an experienced Director of Human Resources to lead workforce strategy and culture. Reporting to the CEO, you will partner with senior leaders to shape employee engagement, talent development, and compliance in a growing healthcare organization.

This role balances strategic initiatives with hands-on HR operations, overseeing recruitment, performance management, benefits, and total rewards, while building scalable HR processes.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive HR leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of employee relations, employment law, compliance and investigations.
• Experience partnering with executives and influencing strategy.
• Background in benefits, compensation, and talent development.
• PHR/SPHR/SHRM certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Partner with executive leadership to develop and execute workforce and talent strategies.
• Advise leaders on employee relations, performance management, and organisational development.
• Lead initiatives on employee engagement, retention, leadership effectiveness and culture.
• Oversee recruiting, onboarding and workforce planning.
• Provide guidance on compensation, benefits and total rewards.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and healthcare regulations.
• Develop and improve HR systems, policies and manager resources.
• Lead and develop a small HR team and build future HR infrastructure.
