Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Human Resources to join the executive leadership team in Lincoln, NE. The role oversees compliance, employee relations, talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, performance management, organization development, and HR operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive HR leadership experience.
• Experience supporting organizations with 150+ employees preferred.
• SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the organization's HR strategy aligned with agency goals.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, local employment laws, OSHA, workers' comp, and regulatory requirements.
• Lead employee relations, investigations, coaching, performance management, and conflict resolution.
• Direct recruiting, onboarding, retention, and workforce planning initiatives.
• Oversee compensation programs, benefits administration, payroll collaboration, and HRIS processes.
• Design and implement leadership development and employee training programs.
• Lead and mentor the HR team and support leaders across the organization.
• Partner with executive leadership on organizational planning, engagement, succession planning, and culture initiatives.
