Job summary

EchoStar seeks an Associate Corporate Counsel - Technology Transactions to partner with Engineering, Product, and Sourcing on complex deals across cloud, SaaS, AI, satellite, and ground infrastructure. You will draft, negotiate, and standardize agreements that protect business momentum while enabling innovation.

You will leverage AI tools to accelerate contract review, template creation, and risk analysis, while building a scalable playbook and governance framework for technology arrangements.

Qualifications

• Extensive drafting and negotiating experience in tech transactions (SaaS, cloud, AI, hardware, network deals).
• Ability to translate complex technical requirements into protective contracts.
• Experience structuring bespoke technology agreements and playbooks.

Responsibilities

• Own complex technology transactions from intake to execution with minimal supervision.
• Structure bespoke agreements for novel tech arrangements and hybrid deployments.
• Build and maintain a technology transactions playbook with templates and fallback positions.
• Serve as internal expert on software licensing, cloud commitments, and data governance.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, InfoSec, Spacecraft Operations, and Sourcing.
