Job summary

EchoStar Corporation seeks an Associate Corporate Counsel – M&A, Securities & Corporate Governance to support a dynamic in-house legal team. You will handle public company reporting, strategic transactions, financings, and governance across a multi-brand portfolio including DISH, Boost Mobile, Sling TV, and Hughes.

You will collaborate with Finance, Investor Relations, Treasury, and external counsel, and leverage AI tools to speed research, contract review, and regulatory compliance while

Qualifications

• J.D. from ABA-accredited law school.
• 1–4 years of legal practice focused on SEC compliance, corporate governance and/or M&A.
• Active license to practice law in at least one US state (or Colorado eligibility).

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and file SEC periodic and current reports (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, proxy statements).
• Administer Section 16 compliance for officers/directors and monitor insider trading lists.
• Execute legal aspects of M&A, strategic investments, divestitures, and capital-raising transactions.
• Support Board administration and subsidiary maintenance across holdings.
• Review investor presentations and corporate policies for disclosure controls.
• Apply AI tools to enhance drafting, review, and regulatory research workflows.
