Job summary

Evolve Therapy Services seeks a Speech Language Pathologist for an in-house Skilled Nursing Facility in Knoxville, TN. The role supports planning, organizing, developing, and directing Speech Language Pathology services in line with federal, state, and local standards.

Responsibilities include evaluating data for treatment planning, developing goals, instructing patients and staff, ensuring CMS-compliant documentation, and overseeing FEES/MBS protocols.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Certificate of Clinical Competency required or eligible.
• Must have active SLP license in state(s) of practice.
• Ongoing continuing education to maintain licensure and certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality speech therapy services and initiate referrals when appropriate.
• Evaluate and obtain data for treatment planning and implementation.
• Develop treatment plans with target lists, and short-/long-term goals.
• Instruct patient, family, and staff in speech-language procedures for carryover.
• Complete CMS-compliant documentation in NetHealth EMR.
• Oversee FEES/MBS protocols and coordinate site programs.
• Participate in resident screening to meet needs timely and with clinical excellence.

Education

Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology

Certificate of Clinical Competency

Active SLP license in state(s) of practice
