Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology
• Certificate of Clinical Competency
• Active SLP license in practicing state(s)
• Ongoing continuing education to maintain licensure and certification

Responsibilities

• Provide quality speech therapy services and initiate referrals when appropriate, in accordance with established standards of practice and department procedures
• Evaluate and obtain data necessary for treatment planning and implementation
• Develop a treatment plan with target list, short-term and long-term goals
• Instruct patient, family, and staff in appropriate speech-language procedures
• Complete CMS-compliant documentation in NetHealth EMR systems
• Oversee and implement protocols for FEES/MBS coordination
• Participate in screening protocols for resident needs with clinical excellence
