Job summary

The candidate will plan, coordinate, and deliver speech-language pathology services, maintain CMS-compliant documentation, and collaborate with staff, residents, and families to achieve therapy goals.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology.
• Certificate of Clinical Competency.
• Active SLP license in state(s) of practice.
• Ongoing continuing education and professional development to maintain licensure.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality speech therapy services and initiate referrals when appropriate.
• Evaluate and obtain data necessary for treatment planning and implementation.
• Develop a treatment plan with target list, and short- and long-term goals.
• Instruct patient, family, and staff to carry over therapy in daily activities.
• Complete CMS-compliant documentation in NetHealth EMR.
• Oversee FEES/MBS protocols with site coordination.
• Participate in screening protocols to meet resident needs timely.

Education
