Job summary

Sprenger Therapy in Amherst, OH is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for an in-house role within our family-owned therapy organization. You’ll evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders, and develop individualized treatment plans with input from residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team.

This position emphasizes autonomy, outcomes-driven care, and collaboration with PT, OT, nursing, and dietary staff.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• CCC-SLP or eligibility for CFY.
• Current SLP license or license-eligible.
• Experience with dysphagia evaluation and treatment preferred.
• Commitment to patient-first, outcomes-driven care.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary care team.
• Conduct dysphagia evaluations and make evidence-based diet and intervention recommendations.
• Provide cognitive-linguistic therapy to support functional independence and quality of life.
• Collaborate with PT, OT, nursing, and dietary to ensure coordinated, whole-person care.
• Document clearly and efficiently in support of quality outcomes.
