Job summary

Hireology is seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our in-house team of outstanding professionals. You will provide person-centered care to help residents achieve positive outcomes and improve their independence and quality of life.

You will plan and deliver therapy per physician orders under supervision of an Occupational Therapist, document thoroughly, and collaborate with families and care teams.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and teamwork with residents, families and staff.
• Ability to provide patient-centered care and adapt to varied needs.

Responsibilities

• Plan and administer occupational therapy treatments to residents and patients to relieve pain and improve function.
• Provide skilled OT services under supervision of an OT in accordance with physician orders.
• Maintain documentation per policy and regulations.
• Collaborate with the OT, nursing staff and families.
