Job summary

Hireology is seeking a compassionate and motivated Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our in-house rehab team. You will plan and administer OT treatments to residents to relieve pain, restore function, and promote healing, under the supervision of an OT.

The ideal candidate will hold a Texas OTA license and a COTA credential, with SNF or long-term care experience; knowledge of OT treatment practices and Net Health EDS is preferred.

Qualifications

• Active and valid Texas Occupational Therapy Assistant license.
• COTA credential required.
• SNF or long-term care experience preferred.
• Knowledge of occupational therapy treatment practices.
• Experience with Net Health Electronic Documentation System preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and administer occupational therapy treatments to residents to relieve pain, restore or improve function, and promote healing.
• Provide skilled occupational therapy services under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
• Respond to requests for service by relaying information to the Occupational Therapist.
• Ensure all treatments are delivered in accordance with the plan of care.
• Provide clinical support and instruction to patients, families, and caregivers.
• Monitor patient response to treatment interventions and report changes as appropriate.
• Complete required documentation thoroughly and timely per policy and regulations.
• Attend required meetings designated by the Director of Rehab.
