Colliers International is seeking an experienced in-house counsel to provide legal guidance across commercial real estate services, focusing on brokerage.

You will negotiate contracts, manage risk, review leases and vendor agreements, and collaborate with colleagues across the organization to support growth and client service.

Qualifications

• JD from ABA-accredited law school and active State Bar.
• 3–8 years of legal experience, preferably in-house within commercial real estate.
• Experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong business acumen with practical client advice on legal risks.
• Excellent organizational, time management and project management skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly, both orally and in writing.
• Advanced MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Knowledge of general commercial law and real estate agreements and transactions.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal counsel to a range of business lines with excellent judgement to actively solve legal matters.
• Become a trusted advisor to service line professionals to assist them in reaching their goals.
• Review internal shared services documentation, including vendor agreements and other procurement documents.
• Support senior legal colleagues and business line leadership with research and other projects as required.
• Develop positive, collaborative relationships with Colliers members to ensure common objectives and SLAs.
• Perform other job-related duties as may be assigned.
