Job summary

Colliers International is seeking a licensed attorney to provide legal counsel across commercial real estate services, with a focus on brokerage. You will draft and negotiate contracts, review leases and vendor agreements, and manage risk while advising service line professionals.

You will act as a trusted advisor, support senior leadership on research projects, and help align objectives with service level agreements, contributing to Colliers’ growth and client success.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from ABA-accredited law school and active bar in good standing.
• 3 to 8 years of legal experience, preferably in-house within commercial real estate or related industry.
• Experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong business acumen and ability to provide practical client advice on legal risks.
• Excellent organizational, time management and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal counsel for multiple business lines, focusing on brokerage services.
• Negotiate, review and draft contracts; manage risk and provide general legal guidance.
• Review internal shared services documents, leases and vendor agreements as needed.
• Build trusted advisory relationships with service line professionals and leadership.
• Support senior colleagues with research and special projects; ensure SLAs are understood.
• Communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing, across the organization.
