Regency Care of Central Oregon in Bend, OR is seeking a Staff Physical Therapist Assistant to provide direct patient care under a supervising Physical Therapist. The role includes administering prescribed therapies, documenting progress, and collaborating with the health care team to ensure safe, effective treatment.

Requirements include an accredited PTA degree and an active, unrestricted PTA license in the state. On-site work with a supportive in-house therapy team and benefits are provided.

Qualificações

• Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant from an accredited program.
• Current, unrestricted PTA license in the assigned state.
• Ability to follow directions from a supervising therapist.
• Capable of working independently with limited supervision.

Responsabilidades

• Instruct patients in active and passive exercises, gait training, and ADLs.
• Observe and report patient responses to PT, nurse, and physician.
• Educate patient, family, and care team on therapy participation.
• Visit patients per Plan of Treatment and complete daily notes.
• Assist PT in procedures and complex treatments as directed.
• Participate in developing a Plan of Treatment with PT input.
• Adhere to Therapy Standards of Practice in all care.
• Communicate patient progress and any concerns to the PT.
