Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an American Physical Therapy Association‑accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Must meet Oregon State Board licensure requirements for PTA.
• Current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers.
• Minimum of one year experience with therapy procedures, orthopedic and neurological follow-up.

Responsibilities

• Provides treatment to patients under supervision and per established plan of care.
• Assists the Physical Therapist with data for reassessments.
• Collaborates with the Physical Therapist to modify plan of care or goals.
• Makes discharge recommendations to supervising Physical Therapist.
• Maintains timely and accurate documentation in compliance with regulations.
• Participates in clinical care conferencing and interdisciplinary team learning.
• Supports safety, confidentiality, and organizational values.
