Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in physical therapy from an accredited program.
• Active Physical Therapy Assistant license in state of practice.
• Commitment to ongoing continuing education and licensure maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services to residents under the direct supervision of the Physical Therapist.
• Conduct screenings to determine need for intervention or treatment.
• Assist in evaluation and development of treatment plans and goals.
• Carry out individual and group treatments focusing on mobility, strength, balance, and ROM.
• Document compliant and medically necessary care in EMR systems.
• Assist with resident scheduling and coordination with the care team.
• Educate residents, families, and staff on therapy techniques and safety.
