Job summary

Evolve Therapy Services in Hastings, PA is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant to support an in-house Skilled Nursing Facility. The PRN position involves supervising under PT, delivering therapy, and contributing to resident care.

You will conduct screenings, help develop treatment plans, and guide residents through muscle strength, mobility, gait, and balance activities, while documenting in NetHealth EMR.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in physical therapy is required.
• Active PTA license in state(s) of practice is required.
• Ongoing continuing education to maintain licensure and certification is expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services to residents under the direct supervision of the Physical Therapist.
• Conduct screenings of residents to determine need for intervention/treatment.
• Assist in evaluating residents and developing treatment plans with the Physical Therapist.
• Help establish resident schedules with the Physical Therapist and care team.
• Deliver individual and group therapy sessions focusing on strength, mobility, balance and gait.
