Job summary

Evolve Therapy Services is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant for an in-house Skilled Nursing Facility in Paterson, NJ. This full-time role involves providing therapy under supervision, conducting screenings, and assisting in evaluations and treatment planning under a Physical Therapist's direction.

Requirements include an Associate's degree in physical therapy from an accredited program and an active PTA license in the state(s) of practice, plus ongoing continuing education to maintain

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services to residents under the direct supervision of the Physical Therapist.
• Conduct screenings to determine need for intervention/treatment.
• Assist in evaluations and treatment planning under the Physical Therapist's direction.
• Help establish resident schedules and implement treatment plans.
• Document therapy procedures and resident progress per CMS/NetHealth requirements.
• Educate residents, families, and staff on therapy programs.

Education

Associate's degree in physical therapy from an accredited program.
