Job summary

Clark Construction Group, LLC is seeking an experienced Paralegal to join its in-house Legal team. The Paralegal will manage the Company’s eDiscovery process, owner and corporate contracts, subpoenas, and support attorneys with litigation and other legal activities.

Responsibilities include drafting and negotiating contracts, maintaining legal documents, researching construction law, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree with a paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program.
• Experience as a paralegal, preferably within construction or corporate legal department.
• Strong understanding of contract law, corporate law, and general legal principles.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the full lifecycle of contract management, including drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and organizing contracts (vendor agreements, subcontracts, owner contracts).
• Maintain and organize legal documents, contracts, flowdowns, and corporate records in physical and electronic formats.
• Manage templates and forms used in contract negotiation and update initiatives; maintain internal process guides.
• Conduct legal research on construction law topics, regulatory compliance, and corporate matters.
• Assist with compliance with local, state, and federal regulations applicable to construction.
• Edit documents to assist attorneys in negotiating contracts.
• Provide support for claims management and eDiscovery obligations.
• Oversee eDiscovery processes, including legal holds and document collection.
• Prepare responses to subpoenas and record requests for the Company.
• Review and analyze pleadings and contracts for litigation, claims, and investigations.
• Identify and implement best practices for litigation, discovery, and claims.
