SCOR Group in New York, NY is seeking an in-house legal intern to gain exposure to a broad range of legal, regulatory, underwriting, and operational matters impacting the business. You will assist with transaction-related documentation, regulatory submissions, and conduct legal research in a collaborative team.

The role offers hands-on experience in insurance law, regulatory compliance, and in-house practice, with potential relocation assistance within the U.S.

Formación

• Currently enrolled in an accredited J.D. program.
• Strong problem solving with ability to analyze issues and propose solutions.
• Clear written and spoken communication to raise critical points.
• Independent self-starter with initiative and sound judgment.
• Curiosity and willingness to learn and develop.
• Proficient legal research and writing using Westlaw and/or Lexis Nexis.
• PowerPoint and Excel skills are a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct legal research on state and federal insurance laws and draft memoranda.
• Assist with responses to insurance department inquiries and regulatory submissions.
• Monitor legislative and regulatory developments affecting underwriting and product development.
• Draft and revise training materials.
• Support special projects for the Legal Department.
