Job summary

SCOR is seeking a US L&H Finance Intern to assist the financial accounting team with journal entries and reconciliations. You will help establish best practices around internal controls and collaborate with finance, actuarial and operations teams to support a fast-paced environment.

The role offers hybrid work with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote, and provides health, life and disability insurance, a retirement plan, paid holidays and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an Accounting degree.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Well-organized, self-directed, and a team player.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain process documentation, including the identification of risks and controls.
• Ensure key controls are implemented and operating effectively.
• Capture control evidence and share with management, internal auditors and external auditors as needed.
