Job summary

SCOR is seeking a candidate in New York to participate in the finance & accounting close process, gaining exposure to reinsurance operations. You will complete closing tasks, maintain audit-ready files, and run key reports to support quarterly close cycles in the U.S.

The role emphasizes analytical work, cross-functional collaboration, and the use of Excel for financial analysis. Relocation within the U.S. is available, with a hybrid in-office schedule.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related field (insurance, risk management, business, accounting, economics, statistics, mathematics) or an advanced degree.
• Strong academic performance and experience working on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned closing tasks on a timely basis.
• Organize and maintain comprehensive files to support audits.
• Adhere to timelines in local closing calendars.
• Run reports to support daily Landing during US Statutory quarter close.
• Review quarterly variance analysis.
• Investigate anomalies in local results analysis.
• Prepare analytical and regulatory reports and help with special projects.
• Present data-driven recommendations to the Finance team.
