Job summary

SCOR in New York invites applications for the Executive Risks Intern program. The intern will work with underwriters, applying quantitative and qualitative analysis to assess risk, determine pricing, and ensure proper documentation. The role includes a 10-week rotation through Financial Institutions Underwriting and Public Commercial Underwriting in a hybrid in-office/remote setting.

Relocation assistance within the U.S. is available. Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Pursuing bachelor’s degree, preferably an incoming Junior.
• Strong interpersonal skills and communication abilities.
• Solid financial analysis, writing and presentation skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a 10-week internship in the management liability underwriting space.
• Rotate in Financial Institutions Underwriting and Public Commercial Underwriting.
• Assist group in understanding the Executive Risks marketplace.
• Analyze financial statements, assess various risk exposures, and produce underwriting reports.
• Research and present a final project to Executive Risk Commercial & Financial Institutions staff.
