Job summary

Evolve Therapy Services is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for an in-house Skilled Nursing Facility in Ahoskie, NC. The role involves planning, organizing, and directing Occupational Therapy Services in accordance with federal, state, and local standards to ensure high-quality resident care.

Responsibilities include conducting screenings, implementing treatment plans under supervision, documenting and billing, and coordinating therapy schedules with the interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• OTA licensure must be active in state(s) of practice.
• Ongoing continuing education and professional development to maintain licensure and certification.

Responsibilities

• Screen residents to determine best intervention per scope of practice.
• Implement treatment plans aligned with goals under supervision.
• Interpret and communicate evaluation findings and plans to residents and families.
• Schedule resident therapy sessions with team members.
• Document therapy services and ensure proper billing.
• Adhere to CMS documentation standards daily.

Education

Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy
